You are currently an active Met Grand Officer and you are in a Lodge NOT designated a London Lodge.
Or, if you have previously held the office of a Met Grand Officer and you have not been offered Grand Rank.
Past Met Grand Stewards often wear this regardless of Grand Rank in their capacity as a Steward or in their Stewards Lodge.
